Long a landmark on the island of Cozumel Cozumel Caribe recently reopened as residential building. With 300 yards of shoreline, Cozumel Caribe offers much privacy. Though the building is large, there are only a few rental units in the building and about 16 private condos that are not used as rental units.
Cozumel Caribe is located about 2.5 miles north of town. It offers a natural sandy beach (150 ft. from the building) with easy access to the sea. In addition, there is entry to the sea via a ladder just south of the building. You will enjoy the snorkeling in this area.
Because the condos are on the quiet north side, they already offer you lots of privacy. But, in addition, they are accessed by a long private road, so you are even further far removed from the distractions of the outside world. If you are looking for peace and quiet, Cozumel Caribe is a good choice.
If you want to an enjoy a meal on the beach, you can stroll 400 yards north to the Playa Azul beach area where there is a restaurant. Some water sports are available in this area as well (windsurfing, snorkeling, diving).
