Villa Alegria features 5 bedrooms with 3 full baths and 2 half-baths, freshwater swimming pool facing the beach, multiple balcony and patio areas on the first, second, third levels as well as a rooftop observation area on the fourth level.

Designer has included playful features like the 8 adult-size swings on the huge third level patio and 2-person tub on the balcony overlooking the ocean.

Climb into your "jungletop" swing and treat yourself to the sweeping views of the palm fringed coastline and the emerald green jungle. Enjoy the ocean breeze and savor the best views anywhere on the island. Or pour some champagne and soak in the tub as the gentle ocean waves lap the shore.

Take the stairway to heaven and bask in the sun on the rooftop observation area. Work on your all-over tan or count the stars or watch the moon sparkle on the Caribbean sea.

You can spend hours on the beach building sandcastles, digging your toes into the sand or taking moonlight strolls. A short walk away (300 yards) is San Francisco Beach with a beachfront restaurant is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. They'll even deliver food and drinks to you at Villa Alegria. Try the fresh fish or yummy burgers. Sip one of those exotic drinks served in a coconut or pineapple (you can enjoy "Sex on the Beach," "Coco Loco," or a "Ticket to Fly," among others). There are fun drinks for the kids, too, such as "Godzilla," "Pink Panther," "Pocahontas" and more.

San Francisco Beach also has snorkeling tours, wave runners, banana rides, parasailing, kayak rental, wind surfing, sunfish, glass bottom boat tours, sailing, a swimming pool, volleyball (both on the beach and in the pool), a pool table, trampoline, massage on the beach, hair braiding, and a couple of small shops. Another beach area south of San Francisco is called Playa Sol. There you'll find the same features as San Francisco plus paddle boats, zoo, giant "iceberg" in the ocean for climbing and sliding, pier for dive boat pickup, bungy jump trampoline and over a dozen shops selling jewelry, t-shirts, handicrafts, etc.

Villa Alegria has a large palapa (thatched roof) on the poolside patio, perfect for an afternoon picnic or a cold beer in the evening. Cascading water flows over a rock "waterfall" into the private figure-eight shaped freshwater swimming pool. A shower is conveniently located near the pool so you can rinse off after coming from the beach. A wooden "bridge" leads from the pool/patio area onto the fabulous sandy beach.

Villa Alegria consists of two sections: Alegria Norte (north) and Alegria Sur (south). The property is not rented to more than one party, so you have complete privacy. Both sections are equipped with a kitchen, living room and dining room and all bedrooms have at least a partial view of the ocean.

Alegria Norte:
This is the largest section with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. First floor features living room, full kitchen, 1/2 bath, dining room with sliding glass doors to the expansive oceanfront patio area with palapa and swimming pool. Second level has two bedrooms (one with king and one with 2 twins), shared bath and oceanfront patio. Third level has master bedroom with king bed, private bath and sliding glass doors to the huge third level patio area. On the fourth level is a rooftop observation area with incredible views of the Caribbean sea and the dense island jungle.

AlegriaSur:
This section has 2 levels, 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. First level has crescent shaped living area open to the second story, kitchen, 1/2 bath and dining area with sliding glass doors to the pool/patio area. Second level has 2 bedrooms (one with king bed and the other with 2 twins) and one shared bath.

For larger groups, combine Chango Villa and/or Villa Dos for maximum occupancy of up to 38.
